Bears face Super Bowl champion Eagles in ‘Black Friday’ game

NEW YORK — Amazon wins all holiday season with the NFL, from Black Friday to Christmas Day.

The Chicago Bears will face the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday Nov. 28 in the third edition of the “Black Friday” game. The “Thursday Night Football” studio crew members Charissa Thompson, Andrew Whitworth and Ryan Fitzpatrick revealed the news Monday at a presentation for advertisers.

The steamer will cap a Christmas Day tripleheader  — the first two games of the day are on Netflix — with the Denver Broncos facing the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium on Dec. 25.

The Chiefs played on Christmas Day last season — a Wednesday that the NFL scheduled games as part of their takeover of the NBA during the holiday.

The Bears will be featured prominently this holiday season. Earlier Monday, FOX announced they’d play at the Green Bay Packers during a standalone window on Saturday Dec. 20 (Week 16).

It’s also the second straight year Amazon has tapped the Chiefs as they defeated the Las Vegas Raiders, 19-17, in 2024.“‘Black Friday Football’ has quickly emerged as a new tradition on the national sports calendar, and we are ecstatic to feature the Super Bowl champions in this tentpole event for the second year in a row,” Prime Video vice president and global head of sports and ads Jay Marine said in a statement.
