Women’s March Madness odds: UCLA, Texas chances improve

Oddsmakers still overwhelmingly think the undefeated No. 1 ranked UConn Huskies will win the national championship for the second year in a row.

But after Power 4 conference tournaments concluded, the champions of the Big Ten and SEC saw their odds improve.

While UConn is still the favorite at -300, UCLA’s odds got slightly better going from +675 to +600, while Texas jumped up from +1200 to +800. That’s according to the latest lines from BetMGM.

Just like they did in USA TODAY Sports’ latest bracketology, Texas leaped ahead of South Carolina after beating the Gamecocks by double figures in the SEC Tournament title game on Sunday in Greenville, South Carolina. Somewhat surprisingly, UCLA’s didn’t see a more significant bump after thumping Iowa by 51 points.

And Vanderbilt still has the sixth-best odds despite losing in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament.

Here’s a look at the top 25 teams in betting odds as of Wednesday, March. 11:
