Saquon Barkley was injured in the fourth quarter of the Philadelphia Eagles’ Week 7 game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Barkley was banged up after a short first-down carry in the fourth quarter of the contest. He made a spin move in the backfield to avoid contact before getting swarmed as he crossed the line to gain.
It wasn’t immediately clear what Barkley had hurt, but he remained down on a knee after the play. He was tended to by Eagles medical personnel before walking off the field under his own power.
Barkley was seen having his left shoulder worked on by an Eagles athletic trainer on the sideline. He did not return to the game on Philadelphia’s drive, which ended just two plays after his exit following an A.J. Brown touchdown.
