Watch: Bryson DeChambeau caps Masters round with epic birdie on 18

Bryson DeChambeau ended his third round at the Masters with an exclamation point.

DeChambeau capped off Saturday at Augusta National by sinking an unbelievable 48-foot putt from off the green to record a birdie on hole No. 18, bringing him to 10-under on the tournament and only two strokes behind leader Rory McIlroy (-12). DeChambeau caught fire as the round wrapped up and birdied three of the final four holes to take sole possession of second place. Corey Conners (-8) finished the day in third place.

The putt on No. 18 was reminiscent of his birdie on hole No. 1, where he hit in a 45-foot putt to open the third round on Saturday. DeChambeau finished 3-under for the day with six birdies and three bogeys total.

DeChambeau and McIlroy will be paired for the fourth and final round on Sunday with a green jacket up for grabs. It will mark a rematch of the 2024 U.S. Open, which DeChambeau won over McIlroy by one stroke. McIlroy had a two-stroke lead over DeChambeau with four holes remaining, but he bogeyed three of the final four holes and finished in second place.

DeChambeau, one of seven LIV golfers to make the cut into the weekend, and McIlroy are both vying for their first Masters win.
